BwaaaahhhRandom inspiration pic from an exerpt of an RP from Lapse of Memory ( [link] ).
I had fun making them shiny.
Oh, and yes, I know that they're both hideously misproportionate/etc. Sorry about that...
Edit: And I just now noticed that this looks a lot like one of Mina-Mongoose's pictures. Oops... sorry about that. ;~; It wasn't intentional at all.
Pity I've never played the Hero mode of SA2 (my dreamcast won't allow me to, it freezes every time I try) because then I'd know what the picture I'm talking about was... well, about. xX;

It's based off an RP that I had with my best friend. Shadow had just recovered from his fall from the ARK and saw Sonic, Sonic was in a daze asking Shadow if it was true that he'd survived. That's a terrible summary, but that's what it is. :3

I have dreamcast and Gamecube SA2s, and, amazingly, the gamecube one broke first!! (Sometimes it freezes and won't let me face the Biolizard...)
I'm sad, cuz I've had 'em for years, and a good friend of mine completely more of the game in 2 to 5 weeks than I had in YEARS. O.o;; Then again, she's the get-the-work-done-now type, and I'm the procrastinator...And she used a guide for her chao--HOW DARE SHE!? ... :cough:

Shadow's back is a little long, but other than that it's awesome n.n I like the bg here, blends in perfectly

aw man u can't stop makind shad and knux sexeh! in fact, ur lineart/proportion/hot-o-meter rate is getting too much for the lil kids. and i understand ur pain about drawing sonic; his torso doesn't make him hot at all, but its still a frivolous pic, although im not sure what this pose represent.

With all the different ways that Sonic characters have been drawn throughout the years, I'm pretty sure that any variation of proportions is acceptable for them.
