Yes, I do! I inked the outlines and such with copic multiliners [GREAT pens, I would recommend them any day! They cost a bit more than sakura michrons, of course, but they're just so heavenly /;-;], and I coloured the whole image [except for the letter and the colour frame in the BG, of course] with copic brush-tip markers. : 3

whoa, I still think its pretty cool how you get so many colours with markers XD. Ive never heard of copic multiliners - which shows what I know, but I have been looking for a decent outlining pen, so that should prove interesting

XD AHA, I was trying to retain a certain semblance of his usual nastiness/sexiness even though I was rendering him as a chibi, and I was kind of worried about those TERROR TEETH he's got going on- but I'm happy that you find him to be adorable anyway! XD He is. SO angry. ♥

I had the chance to got to Otakon but 1.My parents wouldn't let me go with my friend up there and 2. It didn't matter anyway because we went on vacation that time anyways.

Damn those are far. xD I live in Ohio, so I kinda get screwed when it comes to con. I think there are like four that are nearby per year. No fun.

Ohh, but doesn't Ohio have a few cons? Florida's pretty lacking, and Jacon's my favorite there by leaps and bounds... =3= you know, you could visit your uncle near Jacon time I guesss? It's a great, small, friendly little con! It was in a sort of crappy hotel this year and there was no airconditioning in the Artist Alley, but they're switching us back to the usual GREAT hotel next year, I think. : 3

Ohio has... Colossal Con and Tekkoshocon and Ohayocon and I think one more. xD I think. Maybe one of those is just near Ohio. Tekkoshocon I think is the one near OH. Mmm. Memories lacking.

I've only been to three cons ever, and only really cosplayed once, so I'm not an expert by any means.

Cons always bring out the very best and the very worst fans, but my GOODNESS can they be fun! I've been to a bunch by now, but I tend to go for one, maybe two a year tops... the number's slated to increase now, though, since artists and illustrators can peddle themselves to publishers at those and 'go to a con!' is one of the most often given pieces of advice by any of my old Sequential Art professors. : 3

Artist Alley always makes me smile. I love to look at the pretty art. *3* Most of the time I buy at least one thing from Artist Alley in addiction to the Dealer's Room. x3 Sometimes Artist Alley has better stuff than the Dealer's Room.xDD

I used to be a big spender at cons, but now I find myself being way more frugal. I tend to stick to one or two things from the Dealer's Room maybe ['That Figurine I Wanted' or 'That Wallscroll I've Been Looking For' mostly] and, more so lately, a commission or two from the Artist Alley. : 3 I love to support my fellow artists, but it's a weird time and I think we're ALL a bit poor XD;

Oh my, I know! They absolutely REMOVED Mello and Matt's roles especially - and I know Matt's a minor character, but still. XD;; Forgetting who he is, deciding to colour him green so that he'd better match against a painted setting, and THEN copying his pose and actions directly from the special manga chapter into the 2nd rewrite special but replacing him with some blond guy? THAT'S unnecessary cruelty, I think! Poor little guy deserved far better!

Oh my God, I haven't seen the second rewrite yet, but I saw that screen shot, and I ALMOST KILLED SOMEONE. What was even the point of getting rid of Matt there anyway? The fans would have ADORED that? Isn't the point of making these to please the fans?!

I bet they forgot that was based off Matt and didn't like the design against the painted setting so changed it. "Oh this chara design is much nicer on the eyes."

I used Copic for this one, actually! I use the Copic Markers with the brush tips so that I can blend the colours more smoothly, so it's not surprising that it ends-up looking a bit like watercolor.
