And here is another piece that I created for the 40 SECONDS Death Note International Fan Anthology , the cover page for a Matt/Near [and somewhat L/Mello, along the edges, if you squint] piece.The story was 'The Physics of Surface Tension' by the lovely , who is a gigantic sweetheart and a wonderful influence! ♥

Well, the fanfic was never posted at the 40 seconds website itself, but I would suggest checking the fic archive for the author, Jenwryn. I'm not sure if she still has any of her DN fic up, or even if that one was ever posted, but! You'll find it here .

Yup! You'll be able to find the website for the DN anthology in the description for this image- I had up update the link, but DA won't let me send it to you in a comment since it thinks I'm a SPAM bot |D;;. Anyway, it was previously hosted on one of the members' domains, but after her domain went down we defaulted back to this one, which is more of a Site Preview site.

Yeah, it is-! I understand that they've had no in-canon interaction, so of course it's all fanmade speculation, but with Mello/Matt and Mello/Near as big as they are, I can't imagine that more people haven't made the connection and been drawn to the cute, silly side option than there have. XD

Thank you! /;v; When I did the illustrations for this story, I tried to stick to simple and light-feeling pictures of everyone- though I was in the middle of a drawing block and many of the pictures came out looking wonky. |D;; I worked very hard on this cover, though, and I'm glad that you say you love it-!! ♥

I'm pretty sure that it'll be on sale indefinitely. : 3 Lulu prints to order, you see, so as long as we keep the page open it can always be purchased! There MAY be some kind of 'if no books are bought for such and such a time period' limit or something, but part of me doubts that.

I'll be free for all of January and probably about half of February (maybe a little more), so I totally agree with you. I've not wanted to be pushy when you were busy, though, although... there's kind of a flaw in my reasoning there, seeing as you being busy didn't stop me writing, ack. But I do tend to fail a little like that, haha. Anyhoo, I'm planning on cancelling that one Merlin exchange fic (because it's murdering me), and so I'll basically be yours. XD;
