i saw two snakes in my backyard. one slithered away, and we already contained one. Both are baby snakes. I'm trying to find out what type of snake they are. One is brown with a criss-cross pattern, and the other one is brownish red with yellowish green spots and a line down it's back.

one time i was at my schools playday and we went by the woods and there was 3 snakes sleeping on branches

They were black mockingsons.~hope i spelled that right....Any way i was like the only one up there trying to figure out!I kept poking it with a stick and only one woke up but it didn't do anything.

lol i know right.Everyone was surronding me and was like "DON'T POKE IT WITH A STICK YOU'LL END UP WAKING IT UP" Right as it lifted it's head everyone screamed and ran off.I was fixing to pick it up and chase people with it. XD

They were everywhere in Fiji! And someone told me they were really rare! I saw one when I was walking in the shallow water and it slither over my foot

I KNOW! I REEEEEEEEALLY wanted it, but my dad told me off... he said it could have killed my and stuff. Even though sea kraits are extremely venomous, their fangs are too blunt to get through human skin. So I could have picked it up... But we're going back this or next year, so I'll defiantly pick one up then

I love snakes. Some people will never understand this but I think they're cute. It's such a cool picture because I can't tell what part of the body is connected to what and if it's just one snake or several.
I once saw a green tree boa with orange eyes but I didn't have a camera with me.
