Description
I finally did a drawing of one of my favorite cartoon/comic characters.
His name is venom, from the spiderman comics. And if you've seen spiderman 3, then you get the picture. Speaking of spiderman 3, I thought venom who was played by Eric from That 70's Show, wasnt a good choice. He should have been bigger and more pumped up. But ahh well.
I think I kinda messed up on the the body alittle and legs. Most of the drawing was done during the late hours of night.
I wanted to draw him with the symbiote takeing him over and a big grin on his face, so I hope I got that down.
Done with my trusty mechanical pencil on plain printer paper.
I'd say this is my 8th attempt at a venom drawing in my entire life. I tried drawing him when I was much younger but he looked more like a lobsided spiderman

Someone call up the people that print dictionaries, there's a new definition for 'awesome'!
Really classic Venom pose, and so well done too. The overall liquid like effect of the suit is obvious, and in particular the way it's moving to cover his right hand, nice touch.
The head is magnificient, the detail is maticulous being able to make out all the teeth and wrinkles on his head. The tongue is just the finishing touch of a great drawing of one of my favourite Villains.

Hahaaa, I was pretty jealous when I went through tons of venom art. So I decided to draw my own.

I love Venom, and this is just wicked awesome! And although I haven't seen the movie yet, I did always picture Venom as like the really giant, hulking behemoth kinda villain. Excellent work on the bits of crawling symbiote

this is really good. mechanical pencil and printer paper is my favorite tools of the trade as well

Nice, I tried out a few other types of paper. But the printer paper was the best for me.
For as long as I can remember, I was always using mechanical pencil. Some with thick grip to the plain and thin. I find it more easier for details and a constant flow without sharpening.
