Sorry? This is exquisite. Lovely and shadowy but happy and so detailed- and I love the aspects that cue you in to the fact that it's a painting, that just adds to the atmosphere. I love this, perfectly odd little slice of life in Night Vale. Carlos must be fairly strong, hope he hasn't been there too terribly long... the sunbeam is a nice touch. I love how Carlos, all things considered, is untroubled by the Erika. Somewhere between, "Oh, it's you," and "Oh, that's interesting, but I've got more important and/or urgent things to attend to, you see- well, of course you see, it's kind of hard to miss, now, isn't it." For someone who started out more or less as a(n entirelyΒ justifiable) neurotic...
