My Doctor Who fan character Robert Harrison.He subconsciously forgets about "unimportant" or things he sees as boring, as if his brain would filter it. And sadly, these things aren't rare in his life.
So he always just pops up in situations he has no idea how he got in or what it even is about (e.g. arguments). These things usually aren't that extreme haha
Though, it would be possible for him to end up in a dangerous situation, because things like running are kind of unimportant things.
