Description Before I put a check
by the name of any politician
I’ll ask, “Are you flip-flopping,
or are you just changing your mind?”
Or, “Is there anywhere I can find
an honest list of your views?
Or should I just watch the news
and get completely lost?”
I want to see personal integrity
I want them to speak against mud-slinging
am then actually abstain
instead of being vain
and slamming other candidates
or what the incumbent party mandates.
I want to so lobbyists
finally take their back seat
to America’s needs.
I want realistic goals
instead of empty holes
for the good of the administration.
It’s the future of this nation
that I’m voting for,
not special interests groups
or party politics.
Do you understand what is meant?
Or is this just another rant;
a poem about politics?

The poem certainly is true
Reality is pitifully always different than words on a piece of paper, especially in politics

My sig. sais I suport McCain, but he's starting to piss me off with some shit he sais. He's going for the whole ethonol thing and wanting to close gitmo. He's the lesser of the three evils right now, but I think my love for him has died.

well I must honestly say that hes a lot better than Your current President but eh.... maybe you Americans think different about that fact? Quite the whole of Europe isnt really fond of mister Bush

He's in the lead for the republican party. The way it works is each political party elects a nominee to run for the actual office. McCain has won the nomination for republican party and so far the democrats can't make up there mind on who they want but it looks like Obama has the lead.

Oh, sorry, didn't read th question right I guess, but he's the least evil BC he doesn't have ties to domestic terrorist organisations like Obama and he hasn't made his entire political life about being anti military and anti gun rights like Clinton.
