Well, it looks like me submitting stuff is a thing that happens now. I actually figured out how the actual paths DIALOGUE works this time, instead of just doing every path one at a time. Made it a bunch easier, and I think the eyes went better, particularly the gleams (I'm trying out new things and still not getting the kind of antialiasing I want around the edges of the irises, if anyone has tips let me know).
Also, why all the OCs, you might ask? Because I can't get them wrong! Maybe this pony just has slightly abnormal proportions! You wouldn't know!
In all honesty, my nigh-constant line width is a weakness that will require me to either a: look into a tablet for actual pressure sensitive digital drawing, b: put more effort into the "fake vector art" technique, or c: use inkscape or SAI to make actual vector art. Right now I'm just stroking paths in the GIMP after scanning in my sketches, which works well enough for what I've done so far. Also, when I said I'd be working on backgrounds next, that was a lie; there are at least 2 more practice sketches to process before anything else occurs.
