Bertram the Old Warrior from Thomas and Friends. He had only one appearance and no lines. He's really just a recycled model of Duke with Smudger's face glued on. In the episode, "Toby's Discovery," Thomas tells a story about a ghost called the Old Warrior after Toby had found an old abandoned mine. Toby was to stay the night at the mine and while he was there he heard a strange noise. His fireman and driver went to check it out and came back soon. Soon Toby puffed forward only to find out that the "ghost" wasn't a ghost at all, but instead he was really just a little old engine who had been abandoned at the old mine long ago.Toby: I-i-i-i-i-is it a ghost?
Toby's Driver: The Old Warrior would like to meet you...
Toby: C-c-c-can't it wait until morning?!
Toby's Fireman: Ghosts don't work day-shifts.
Toby: *steams forward to see the ghost but instead sees a little old engine* Well bless my bell!
Workman: This is your ghost Toby... His name's really Bertram, but we call him the Old Warrior because he's so brave.
Bertram: *sits there and smiles at Toby*
