Another old engine of mine.

Old Chuffer is the only wood burning engine on the line. He is also very wise and very kind. We're proud to have this engine on the line, but we do feel sorry for him due to his condition... He has a bit of a bad memory and has the habit of breaking down at any given time. Old Chuffer might not have very many years left in him. the other engines say that they can here Old Chuffer's parts rattle, clank, and groan at times. They even say his whistle sounds worn down. Old Chuffer might be the first engine that I'll ever have to scrap, I just hope that day never comes. Old Chuffer is a old, reliable engine. I just wish there was someway to fix him up, but unfortunatly the railway doesn't have the money to fix certain parts of a wood-burning engine such as him. Most of those parts are his vital parts. Hopefully we can get him converted into a coal burning engine sometime in the future, as for now... Things aren't looking to good for him, but he doesn't let that get in the way of him making his life worth living. Even though he has one piston in the scrapyard, Old Chuffer is still up and kicking. He works hard to make sure he dies knowing that he lived a good life. I'm sure that when the day comes... He will die a happy engine.
