I'm thinking of re-writing the TTTE harbor saga with the cast of TUGS and Puffa and the goods engine/Chooch alongside Duck and Percy.

It makes sense that they would. Afterall. Some of the sets and models for TUGS were reused for some of the scenes in Thomas and Friends, plus some of the people who worked on TUGS worked on Thomas and Friends.
