I've always been inspired by the sad stories of Al-Andalus and while listening to The Dragon's Breath (Celtic Circle) i got this picture in mind, the picture of a last gardian, a wise man, a clear mind warrior who regrets his past and wishes he saved his own...a mixture of emotions ^^.
It's been five years since i did the sketch; ya that's that old.
