Description
Now before anyone says anything rude or immature, I have to say this. If you would rather there be no religion than no conflicts, I do not blame you. After all, each religion does have it's rules and restrictions, and if you prefer to live in your own little world without rules or restrictions, I will not stop you from doing such a thing. You are, after all, a human being, with free will and free thoughts. This stamp is mostly directed at those who believe that the only reason
bad things happen is because of religion, as I don't think that religion
in general is the problem when it comes to religious conflicts. The
problem is bigoted, narrow-minded, unfriendly religious extremists who
don't deserve a part of the religious/theist community.
And I can find some examples of violent or extreme acts which had nothing to do with religion. An example is the 2011 Vancouver Canucks Riot (Which I know is old, but I found it extremely shameful and insulting to real Vancouver Canucks fans who were not involved in the riot, and insulting to hockey fans in general). In fact, I don't even know if those people involved in the riot were actually Vancouver Canucks fans or just a bunch of drunkards who thought that a riot was a fun little game.
The point here is, don't blame opinion or faith for conflict, blame narrow-minded, stupid, rude, immature extremists.

I think if anything, if we suddenly 'abolished' religion, more war/crime would happen.
For example, some people could loose their way knowing their holy books will be destroyed, their churches/places of worships demolished ect. They could go on a mass killing spree thinking nothing can save us from any on coming evil or whatever, thinkign its for the greater good of our race.
That's my two cents on it anyway.

I don't know about that (Sorry for late reply), but I do know religion can be either harmless, used for good, or used for harm. Sometimes I think of it as another object/hobby/whatever.

Though many bad people have been the cause of religion-induced conflict, corruption and destruction, this stamp's message is pure and true. There are many, many more sources of the world's problems, including those economically, diplomatically, racially, educationally, governmentally, etc. And just like with religion-induced problems, everything bad to flow from these branches comes from bad people, specifically...

Sadly.
Sometimes I wish I could tell bad people to GTFO. But that wouldn't stop them. :C

Yeah... 3: ... I'm not saying there shouldn't be mean people at all, because then we wouldn't know the difference, it's very sad there has to be so many of them out there...
