Ya know this scene shows you quite allot information on the thing creature itself. So far I know this alien lifeform consists of tentacles spider like appendages teeth and green tendrils.it makes me wonder it the thing is a plant because when that guy's head falls off it shows you green plant like tendrils that attached itself to it's other body. But the head doesn't fall off until Kurt russell shoots that worm grotesque version coming out of him.

Hell yeah! Dude, this is great. Epic moment. I was wondering what scene from The Thing you'd pick. So many good ones! The face on the creature is dead on. Which Carpenter movie to do next? I need to see an epic 'They Live' collage or perhaps a kick-ass Big Trouble in Little China scene.
