This is the brother of Mander from Paintale, he's 28 years old and his height is 150cm (4"9); in this verse monsters are given the last name of their particular shade of magic instead of family names, the shade of their magic is like a fingerprint to them, no two monsters have the same shade exactly although they might be close.
He's the Judge in New Home, the lead referee of the district, this position limits who he can socialise with since he's not meant to be too friendly with people who want to compete in the monthly tournaments for resources, but he has gotten close to the Judge from Hotland, Alphys, and they recently started dating. Judges are picked for their abilities to monitor large areas at once; Alphys uses her cameras, Sans uses tears in reality that are naturally occuring but he can manipulate to show where he wants them to, he also can use them to teleport, only him and Mander seem to be able to see the tears although mander hasn't learned how to manipulate them yet. Grillby is the Judge of Snowdin and has flame lanterns set up throughout snowdin that he can look through at will and OnionSan, the Judge of waterfall, uses bubbles in a similar way.
He and Mander don't get to talk as often as he would like but they try to keep in contact with texting and calls; he struggles a little with depression and stress but he hasn't had to deal with resets, just a very repetitive daily life and the stress of his position, his depression got worse recently after Asgore convinced him to try and use the tears he can see to try and get a glimpse of the other side of the barrier but he refuses to tell anyone other than Asgore what he saw.
