Just a piece of art before I head up north for the week. C: I'm actually quite proud of this, probably my best pixel art to date.This is the cast of my characters for 2012. From left to right, is Blooper, Reed, Munchy, Louie, and Allen. I may make some reference sheets this summer, so look out for that!
Edit: Change Allen's skin tone slightly.

So, are these all your original characters? [Well, aside from Blooper, who's a fan character.] It's an interesting cast. I like the variety of the animals they are. I think people get stuck with drawing one (or very similar) species/design too often, so it's nice to see such a varied cast of characters. It's not easy to draw characters with very different faces and yet make it look like the same style, which is probably why people like to stick with one basic design. I think that's a temptation all cartoonists have in common, including me. 
As far as pixel art goes, it's very nice. I haven't seriously worked on any sprites in years. So I'm not really qualified to critique, but it looks good to me. XD

Gotta admit I never did pixel art myself. I consider to try it out soon. but it does seem pretty tricky.
