Wow...I wouldn't mind knowing how long it took you to draw this, especially with the detailed shading (that I love very much) and the expression...heh...kind of a go away, I don't care, nervous kind of look... just like you said.. ^_^
I am utterly amazed at the detailed straps and those flowers on his shirt...owowowowow... I wouldn't mind seeing how it would look like colored... ^_~;

I don't know about other people, but for me, it's because I'm curious and because I'm a drawer so I know how long shading and everything is if you want to make everything good... so I just want to know... ^_^

ahaha, ok, well, I don't know EXACTLY how long it took me, it was a while ago. though I know it takes me at loeast a few hours to do something like this in ballpoint. So, anywhere between 2 and 3 hours. * I am a slow worker o,O*

My eyes were watering at the detail, why isn't this a DD?

There are several things i like about this picture. the first one is all the strings and straps, i love those. The second, is the rest of the fashion in the picture, like the cuffs and frilly stuff around his neck. also, i like his lips. they contrast very much with his completely unshaded face, making him look pasty/vampiric/undead (something like that anyway)
two things i dont like. his chin is assymetrical, and it looks a little weird. also, his eyes make him look like a she. they're so wide, and it looks like hes wearing eye shadow. so, i had to read the description to know it wasnt a chick, and then i noticed there were no boobs. so, i was sure.
overall, nice!!

black ballpoint and gelpen...i ran out of the yellow sparkly kin..so i had to use the pink o.O..and the sparkly stuff rubs off, so soon there will be pink aaaalll over this.

I DID really think it was a good idea, but me mum said "..that's very STUPID, your clothing isn't good at all!" right to my face, and that kind of turned me off of the idea for a while, but i"m starting to reconsider it, what fun that would be!!...lucky me, I have a plenty of friends who can sew so much better than me...>.>...*plots*

If it's something you enjoy, please pay no attention to your mother. Perhaps she'd like you to be an accountant and miserable for the rest of your life as well? Anyhoo, none of my business. What I wanted to say is that you definitely do not need to be able to sew to be a designer. Two completely different things. Of course it does help if you want to futz around with stuff. I apologize, I dated a fashion-type person for a good long while.
One last thing before I go, as a warning. Industries where you work with women on a day to day basis are HELL. Try to work with guys whenever possible. You will understand some day.
