My mistake was to fall in love with a show that is officially dead, a show that disregarded one of the most dynamic characters to shove the oh-so-obvious couple, and made Valerie the-angry-teenager-seeking-revenge seem like a joke by the end of the season.Still. Valerie kicks ass no matter what people say, and that we saw no reaction from her at the end of the series is pooh.
Thankfully, teenagers staying together (specially best friend turned lovers) for the rest of their lives is like finding Prada in my backyard. Possible, but not very likely. I have hope. ):

That was supposed to be Danny being all scared, but then I got lazy. YAY lazyness!
Scrapping, will color this...eventually.

Still the person who came out of the third season worst was Danny. 
The third season proved as I always believed, Valerie only had one big problem with Danny. But rather than try and deal with Sam's problems they regressed Danny to make him compatible.

Not the only person who was upset with how they dealt with Val. I felt DP peaked in the second season. We had Val, who possibly just might actually have the right end of the stick and had just broken free of Vlad (at least that's how it appeared).

Valerie was a character with so much potential, and just like that was let go. Because she wasn't a titled character featured in every single episode. Or something. I was dying to see the resolution between her and Danny, or if she was going to become a true villain. And the friendship was just, gone! Poof! Like, because Sam is around we don't need more competition in the form of Valerie.
I think I've only watched the Valerie episodes in season three and let it go. I couldn't stomach the D/S.
