Description
Anything must once come to an end. An end that will conclude history as we know it.Whilst many events have already left their marks, this is different. The world as we know it will cease to exist, will vanish into cosmic dust; dust among dust. Nothing will matter anymore as there will be nothing that could matter. Just dust. Nothing will remember us. Inevitably, we are steering into oblivion.
This is a collab with the Lord of Space Art, known to the common townspeople as =JoeJesus ! I rendered the terrain and am to blame for the small planet/moon whilst he cared for the extra-portion of AWESOME
So yeah, if you haven't done so yet, head over to his page and be slammed with more awesomeness than a simple html-page can contain (ergo: check his gallery).
Also, we're offering this piece as a wallpaper-pack:
Standard/Mac:
5:4 -- 1920x1536
4:3 -- 2048x1536
Widescreen:
5:2 -- 2560x1024
16:9 -- 2560x1440
16:10 -- 2560x1600
If you download, please be so kind to fav as well. It took us quite a bit to get it all done, plus, it's a big motivation-boost for us. That is why you should also head over to >his deviation-page < and go show it some love as well

When I was thinking that space art be damned in the year of 2011. You and joe come along and provide something that has at least rendered the year not a total waste. This is brilliant and evocative.
I'll be creating my fourth edition of 'the best space deviations ever' this year...
I really can see this being in the top 10.

I'm in no position to critique on this, but it's strikingly beautiful art. Both of you have a real sense of the dramatic. Take the texture in the waves - it's smoothness belies a rough, chaotic streak. It has a raw power that doesn't need the definition of a finer line, and the use of colour streaks in the middle of it all made me think of the whole piece entirely differently - as though different oceans of stars, whole galaxies and worlds were being swallowed up by an incredible black hole on the horizon line. Your particle effects really create a sense of destruction, too - everything being ripped up and smashed to bits caught in a great solar storm. It's just AWESOME!! Serious kudos, guys, you've created something breathtaking.
