Still catching up with refining sketches from last year (Wrong Turn being another one of this kind), this time letting the people enjoy a sight to tell their grandkids of! Kidding, 'tis highly unlikely that they'll make it even till Christmas but at least they have a fancy view right now. Oh look, some are even taking a few pics to share them on Instagram!
The image is based on an article I read about the nuclear testings in the 40's/50's. Ignoring obvious health concerns, those explosions certainly look pretty cool, so getting to watch those was some sort of priviledge (1 , 2 , 3 ).

This has a really cool atmosphere to it. I like how the explosions seems to have so much clarity but the spectators don't as well. I am developing a writing app called Daily Prompt that utilises written and visual prompts to inspire stories and poems. I think Sightseeing would fit really well for either, both from the spectators point of view or from an apocolyptic stance. Would you be interested in having Sightseeing feature as a prompt? We only ask for permission to feature it and add all wanted credits to the app and to our IG.
