Just for fun. I'm really enjoying doing random realism pics of my OCs atm ^__^oUsed a piccy of Gackt for reference of the pose~
Brushes stolen from several people on DA~ Just type in brushes in search n u'll find them (sorries.. I didn't keep note of who owned them .__. Much love to the artists though <33 )
pssst the hand n whatnot is blurry ON PURPOSE.. I really just wanted attention drawn to his face... and YES that is a pen @__@ mmmm I shoulda draw pocky XD

I know the hand's blurry, but it looks so good! x_X You know how hands move a little and you take a photo and it's blurry? Yeah it's like that. Love his expression. xD
Just an idea...and I don't want this to sound wrong...especially if you're only doing these for fun...but with the hair, you may want to try showing individual strands? Like not over every section of the hair, that would be hell D: But like just a few strands on top of the blurry ones that caught the light. And some dark ones that have gone astray, you know? That way the hair will have a more realistic look to it. 
But otherwise, this is REALLY good. And the folds in his shirt are amazing!
