Here is a study of the image I will be working on for CesFur Art Show. Set the god of the desert, storms, war and chaos. You might have seen some sketches of him here and there for the past year I suppose. I know, I start too many things at once, I just want to do everything, sorry : xI have to work more on values but this is more or less the idea.

so much detail.. and I really love the dark stormy background..really gives the picture... the chaos side 
the fdetail that his clothes are sort of blending to the ground..awesome! Also I really like your version of him *goodled him to see some other images, and so far this is the one image of him that I like most*

Good that you acknowledged the part where he helps Ra fighting Apophis... every night. It's quite a job, if you have to kill the same snake every night. But he is, as stated above, also a god of chaos and storms so also destructive towards humans. And also the murderer of Osiris. So, quite am ambivalent character that is good or bad depending on the context. And here he does look quite content actually with a scroll and his staff. He also got nice abs.... just saying.
