2015 UPDATE: Worked a bit more on shadows and changed the file.For 's Creature Feature challenge
The promised, sort of, anthro scorpion and I loved working on it's design c:. It could be probably done in hundred different ways. I tried to make the anatomy accurate, but also get slightly mammal character. I hope I don't have any scorpion breeders among my dear watchers x3 if so, we can work on a better version.
In school they said that an image must seem finnished(complete) in every stage of work. I agree with that partly. Well, now I'm half dead, this is still not finnished but it might be called complete so I'm done. I will polish it later, srsly.

Hmm, a scorpion anthro. I have to admit, this is quite an interesting concept, since you adapt an invertibrate anatomy, including 8 legs, to a humanoid body shape. The result does look good in both regards, so it is recognicable as a scorpion, while it also is clearly somewhat human. And it is nice that he got this slightly spiritual touch him with the bracers, the scorpion symbol at the wall, and the fact that he might be ritually cleaning himself.

When I did the colouring his expression died a bit, oh well. Glad you like it ^^
