Just a bit of digital painting practice, and I haven't painted one of these guys for ages
NOTE: I've had some of my Yuuzhan Vong art used in manipulations and advertisement for fan media without my permission before now. If you wish to use it, please take the time to ask me first. I'm usually happy for my work to be featured, but for the love of Yun-Yuuzhan, do not alter it

Thankyee dear! The armour is actually made up of a creature called a vonduun crab, so I guess it's polished chitin. It's often shown as being black or rust colour on members of the warrior caste, but on intendants I have only seen it this hue. Yuuzhan Vong abhor all man-made things and are religiously predisposed to shape the natural world to do their bidding, kind of like extreme vegans gone wrong

I remember I discovered your art when I hadn't read a lot beyond the NJO, ,so to see these guys illustrated was an important part of the way I viewed the EU. I love how you use bright colors in the jewelry and horns to brighten up the gray skin, and the wavy tattoos are really pretty. And the eyes, and the white highlights in my hair. You remind me to be bolder with white!
