July 2008: Tyranitar tutorialPlease visit my site to view the full tutorial [link]
Tyranitar's colorscheme is pretty straight-forward. Most of its body is green. It only has a blue patch on its belly and on its back. The triangular holes in its armor are a darker green and sometimes they are even black. The shiny version of Tyranitar has a sandy-colored body, with purple patches on its back and belly. Other than that, it's pretty much identical to the normal version.

Pheh... I'd OWN Sabrina. Plus, I don't think I'd like to be tied down to a gym like that. XD

Are you referring to that episode in which her Kadabra moves Ash's Pikachu around with his will power? Well, obviously I'd be using a dark type, so that wouldn't be an issue.

Ghosts are alright, but not if they have a poison-subtype like the Gengar-line. I remember in the first gen when people were all going on and on about how ghosts were strong against psychic types.
BS!! There were only three ghosts, Ghastly, Haunter and Gengar, and all had the Poison-subtype. My brother once raised a Gengar in the hopes of countering my Alakazam, and my fast little Psychic flattened his ghost with one hit. WHAAMO!
What made it even worse was that there were no strong Ghost-type moves. Most had a fixed damage rate, like Night Shade. Others where just ridiculously weak, like Lick. There was no such thing yet as Shadow Ball. Ghosts were a joke in the first gen.
They're a lot better now, although they are NOT immune to psychic-types, nor are psychic attacks registered as not very effective. They do normal damage. All in all Dark-types are a much better bet.

lol how bout fire/dark? like houndoom? lol i've begun to draw a roster of what pokemon I would have with me. Only problem is, i would probably want 8 with me, since I have more than 6 favorites. lol

Houndoom is a pretty cool choice, though the fire type carries a lot of weaknesses around. That being said, I love the fire-types. Houndoom's main problem is that it has great Special Attack, but a pretty limited move pool to go with it.
These PokΓ©mon you want. Are they for a comic/story, or do you really want to use them for D/P/Pl online battling? If so, what are the other pokes you want?

oh I don't know. I guess it's more of like a dream team. Although since I've started playing pearl on an emulator, I've got about four rosters now. lol Girafarig is a pretty good choice, and since it only has two REAL weaknesses, you can focus on protecting against that. Just like Sandy's steelix is immune to water now. btw, I found a wild Steelix in iron Island. lol I didn't know that was possible. The Steel types were supposed to be only through trades, right?
