Entry for 's Anthro Fashion Show Contest
EDIT: Woo! made it as a finalist! didn't win, those that won totally deserved it hands down. A lot of awesome art. contest was tons of fun, and i will defiantly be doing more of this kinda stuff in the future!

So i went through a few different concepts for this contest. It went from Single Ladies Beyonce to Dragon Ball Z. When my pen finally hit tablet good ol' Captain Hook demanded to be drawn.

I chose a crocodile for this, for obvious reasons. I hate furries so i tried to avoid adding cute cat ears and tail to whatever i was drawing. I went over board with the line art and by the time i got to colouring i didn't have a lot of time. I tried a new shading style... bleh i still hate the way I colour.

Anyways, thie piece was refreshing to do. It was a challenge and it's nice to do something that doesnt run around in a tank top and blue hair. (lol)

OH and for his outfit i tried to combine his simple disney design with the elegantly detailed costume he wore in Hook (the movie where pan returns to neverland as an adult) I really liked that movie as a kid... in it he had a room filled with clocks... hence the clocks. XD

anyways, to sum this all up, i wanted to do something different, something to challenge myself and hey, those disney villains never get the attention they deserve! lol

first time i've ever entered a contest. so we'll see.
