I spent a long time in Photoshop today just working on planets etc.I finally did one that I liked so here is the final result of about 2 hours on the computer.
I used a tutorial by ~Inventor for the planets.
Very good one to check out!
I ish pleased with this. ^___^

Really a very good job, though I do see a seam on the second planet. The blur tool might could be used to remedy that. On another note, you might want to make the glow around the planets a little more uniform, but that is just me being nit picky. Plus, I understand the issues with shading and whatnot. Other than that, the planets are well done as well as your star in the background. Nice lighting effects on that note. Overall, a very good job.

The only suggestions I have would to be to take a second look at the planet surface on the smaller planet.. it doesn't exactly match up. And the light should be hitting all of the left 'rim' of the smaller planet, not just that little patch. Otherwise, nice job.

cool, really awesome piece. The only little problem I can see is a 'seam' down the left centre of the lower planet in fullview but otherwise this is a really nice, clean piece.

i looked at that tutorial earlier! it's awesome! i'd do some planets like that but i dont have photoshop (duh, that's why i ask you
