Description
This is definitely a character that I never expected to draw. Originally I was setting out to draw Celty but I came across Yellow Ranger helmet photos in a Google Search. Weird! Then nostalgia struck as I remembered when the earlier seasons aired the only time I watched the show. MMPR was so bizarre at the time. It was like a cheesy live action version of Voltron and hilarious Japanese scenes dubbed into English like in kung fu movies.Line Art: [link]

Sexy. XD
I remember the old Power Rangers show, I used to idolize them. They're still cool, but what stands out most for me is how they love to do a lot of epic waving. A loooot. XD

I never expected to hear that. Even though I've always liked the Asian ladies...
They had very emotive body language to be sure. I was surprised to find out that there are quite a lot of young martial artists that say MMPR got them into it. And here, I was used to people saying it was Mortal Kombat.

XD I have always liked them a lot too. They did at that. Haha, really? For me it was Bruce Lee... I could rant about him for days on end, but I shall spare you that. Though, if I could take on a moniker as a martial artist, like a lot of wrestlers and such do, it would be Sub-Zero. For me, it's just fitting.

Yep. I can't remember what movie I was watching... but one of the stunt men was talking about how Power Rangers inspired him to become a martial artist during one of the bonus features.
My dad was a Bruce Lee wanna be back in the day and I got hooked on Kung Fu movies too. I've got some of his earliest movies on DVD.

That's pretty cool. A Bruce Lee wannabe eh? That's funny... Though, they do say that imitation is the highest form of flattery!

Yep. He went so far as to teach himself how to use nunchucks and a butterfly knife. Weird combo.

Hah! True that. I somehow managed to hit myself upside the back of the head, believe it or not. Well, I suppose that at least teaches you real fast what NOT to do! XD

That's smarts! One thing to really be careful of is letting too much confidence seep in. You know that feeling when you're first getting in synch with the momentum and you're thinking, "I've mastered it!" Then BAM! D8

XD Definitely. I feel lucky though, having never hit myself in the groin with them, which is something a lot of people seem to do. ...And now, I've probably jinxed myself.

XD I feel sorry for you... Though, there's a first time for everything. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up hitting myself in every other place, too.

If that does happen, it'll at least give you a tolerance for pain.

That's true! I have a higher tolerance for pain than a lot of people, but there's always room for improvement.

So long as it wasn't during church, people really frown upon those with portable radios or TVs.

Pffttt! I can remember everything I've drawn, and the earliest stuff was so bizarre A super hero with a bowling ball for a head, a worm fishing for fish... Pac-Man monster truck. When I first got SMB3, I would draw maps of every level and some designs of my own.
