Yes. Before I settled on making small pixel carts, I was experimenting with downsizing vexels I have made. Those didn't turn out so well since all of the colors would blend together and muddy at this scale. The magic sweet spot for making the colors pop just right is staying within a 16 or 32 color palette not counting the cartridge itself.
