[TurnTable On Tumblr] | [3D View on Sketchfab]This is my most ambitious 3D project to date, and I’m super happy with how she turned out!
I really love Crypt of the NecroDancer and Cadence as a character, so this feels like a fitting tribute to one of my favorite games.

I really wish I had taken the time to learn how to emulate cloth & hair physics, because animating them by hand took several days on their own… :’D In fact, her model and texturing only took about a week, while rigging her for animation and animating her took the remaining 2 weeks of production time.
Speaking of her rig, [this] is what it looks like! Her head bone looks like headphones because it’s a fun play on words and looks cool as hell.
She has a separate layer of fine-tune controls as well as a completely separate rig to control her facial expression textures. She’s got 16 different eyes and 16 different mouths and they can be changed independently. Hopefully I can show off more of her expressions later. :0
I might just record a video showing off her rig because I’m really proud of it, it took forever, and I want people to be able to appreciate my hard behind-the-scenes work.

Thank you! And yeeaah, I've got no idea how to do that. :'D I looked it up a while ago and saw that you needed like, 10 different porting programs, and my ADHD shut down my brain immediately upon seeing that.
Not to mention that I would like to make a Cadence 2.0 at some point in the future. One with actual geometry eyes & mouth and better rigging so that she's more versatile. I wanted to make more animation stuff with her, but I realized just how limited I'd made things...
