Hi, I finally have new art! It only took me forever to finish this, which I started months ago.

On the left is young Duke, around 4 or 5 years old. On the right is Calliah, his mother. Both characters are from my story; they belong to me, obviously.

He is UNLOVED. She is UNFORGIVEN.

A son lacking a mother’s love. A mother who can not love her son.

Unlovable! Unlovable! Unlovable! The words hit like daggers. Blades tearing the child’s heart to shreds. Unloved! Unloved! Unloved!

Yet he remains standing. He was put in hell. Multiple times by multiple people. His mother was the first person to put him in hell.

If she thinks he will forgive her for everything —all the torment— she put him in, she is sadly mistaken.

Calliah: No.

Calliah, near the end of story 1: Will you forgive me?
Duke: No, I’ll never forgive you.

That is the story of mother and son. Unloved son; unforgiven mother. The parallels of cursed son and mother being rejected.
