Also (didin't notice it 'til just now) it's worth noting that the farmer, the birds and the bugs are all sympathetic as all they're doing is trying to earn a living/survive. Oh and nice extra line from Bob there too

True, very true...after all, Stan did just flick the bugs away rather than gobble them. You know that's actually a nice cycle there...Stan flicks the bugs away, then Giles makes a deal with the crows. I see what you mean.

Haha, wow, nice work. Seems as if they're in a really right spot (especially Flyer XD). Interesting situation, and for the comonly antagonistic farmer's come to the aid. Your use of expressions is quite something. The story, however, has me laughing quite a bit as well. Also... why do I have the feeling that Flyer is going to be left behind somehow? I dunno, call it a hunch. XP

I knew as soon as a wrote "The birds are standing in the doorway (ominously lit) each holding a basket." that I'd be in for a treat - you're great at moody lighting. It's interesting to see the birds pose a genuine threat too, normally they seem to funny and annoying (to the farmers and other humans for example) but to Bob and co. you can se how they'd be quite scary.
