It should be an upgrade, but i haven't played with it yet. So I'm not sure..

You get to use the short 8.8cm (which sucks) and are very dependent on not getting seen. However, if you use the short 8.8, there's a great chance you wont't pen at the ranges needed to stay hidden.

with my stugIII i run the 105 with HE shells in the first slot. acc is grate damage is acceptation and rate of fire is good for my play style. evn in high tire matches [8+] i can at least get good damage assists with that thing. it also helps that its 10.5cm and not 8.8cm ether. whats the max distance to accuracy ratio u would recommend for the 8.8

Best distance to snipe and still be able to pen is 300-350 meters. 350 is pushing it.

HEAT is being nerfed next patch and HE is close to useless.

HE has been close to useless for the past couple of patches. HEAT is getting a penetration nerf to around 100mm instead of the 150mm it has now.
