Constrasting Amy's cheerfulness and Shadow's grouchiness.
I can totally imagine Amy doing that! ^^I was lazy to do background and shadows
I just added some meaningful aura for both. Maybe Amy's shining halo is not so visible. I am quite satisfied with my Amy, but Shadow, I still can't draw him right... Anyway, it was good for practice.

Yeah, more of this needs to be done, fitting of their personalites. Her cheerful side, his somewhat taciturn one. There's too much emphasis on crazy stuff concerning these two, with crazy long quills and the like. This one's perfect.

This personality trait of hers reminds me of a loyal, persistent cute animal or child (as you said), who is too stubborn to give up trying to cheer you up, even when you rudely drive her away. In the end her insistent attempt and loyality wins, melting the grumpy heart
Yes, she is grown up in a way, but she seems to preserve a big amount of the inner child that helps her to overcome situations that a usual disillusioned adult would fail. And she is also overcoming the frail human nature.
Funny that you say that--I will tell you that I have a slightly different version of this drawing: Shadow isn't blushing but there is a drop of sweat on his head XD
I was wondering which version should I post, but the blushing one seemed cuter for me, too.

It wasn't a shock. It is major I don't like this plot nor the character personality. And obviously the background idea of grief and torture their interraction can bring the both.

Of course I don't think it is normal. I such a guy could go to hell.
However, I didn't read those lost pages. It seems I don't remember many things from that. I know i liked the artwork, and as far as I could remember, Shadow was hardsher than usually in fanfics, but this cruel side didn't appear so visible for me. For me some other aftertaste remained, something more gentle. I guess I should reread it.

I tend to see beneath good drawing skills.
Her artwork can be considerred well made, but the only true motivation why she made that entire comic is blunt dark Sex. With the theme no string attached.
Characters interract only flatly - sketchy - and briefly only to get to the "best part" as soon as possible. And Hel is enjoying it. She's drawn only 68 pages and Shadow scored) And more than 20 with the actual sex scene)
You see she got into this fandom after reading mature fanfics by Jazzy-B, Lovely Bubbles and such. Viridian Holiday for example.
But what she still lacks is the grip of characters motivation. She wasn't interested in the developement of a bond between them - all she needed was sex.
Have you noticed how that comic came to a standstill after she was done with that? I think there are great chances that it will stay at that point for a long time.
So in the end we will have Drama Queen Amy cheered up by Hopelesly in Love Sonic, Hard Sexy Bastard Shadow absent or probaly killed, and a surreal all of that never happened.
