I finally finished! I'd been wanting to make Fluttershy the fashion model for a long time, and I've been working on her on and off for over a year. I re-did her hair soooo many times...re-positioned her head several times, too. She had a lot of challenges, not the least of which was that the images of her from the show look different in different shots. The patterns on the dress seemed to change every time she moved. So, I picked something that worked for me and went with it. It's as show-accurate as I could make it, given that the show itself wasn't very accurate.

She's about 23 inches to the top of her up-do. The body is made from minky, and the bodice of the dress and shoes are cotton knit. The tiara is also cotton knit with a wire inside to give it it's shape. The details are appliqued with the same fabric. The skirt is five colors of mirror organza that I cut with a hot knife so the edges would seal without fraying.

Her dress is sewn on her body. I'd have liked to make it removable, but I didn't see any practical way to do that with the wings. The shoes can be removed, as can the tiara.

I put a lot of hours into this one. I wish I knew exactly how many, but I really have no idea. Over 40, easily, probably a lot more.
