Very recently (like last week or so) I came across The Little Engine that Could on Youtube. It's that 30 min 90s film that some people claim to have seen it as kids. I literally can't believe I never saw this film as a kid! I'm glad I did now because it's such a touching and amazing short film to enjoy.

So, that movie convinced me to draw Tillie to what she looks like as a human driver. I believe her engine is American based on the design so I gave her the overalls and cap. But to add to her cap, is her headlight. Her chain whistle is round her neck and her blond hair is tied in a ponytail. I would say Tillie would be either 12 or 13 in the film based on her young personality and determination.
