Idea 1
Whether because he grew tired of no one claiming it, or he was a few Souls behind and saw it as an easy target, the Devil of Inkwell Isle decided to claim Afton's Soul for his own, but, due to Afton/Springtrap being locked up by the SCP Foundation, on the 'Main Realm' Earth, isn't able to go after him directly. Thus, he takes control of something else the Foundation has under their control; the Ink Machine's Ink Demon Bendy. Just adding MORE trouble for the Foundation, as they have to actively work to keep the Ink Demon from getting near Springtrap.

Idea 2
Shadow Bugs are the most primitive species from the Realm of Darkness, and are connected to almost every species or resident of the Realm. Either directly, or indirectly. Essentially, they serve as the 'slimbiotes' of the Realm of Darkness.

Idea 3
I've already stated that the Dream Realms is basically Cresselia & Darkrai's domain, being 2 of the strongest Dream-related beings in the Azure Inferno universe. That said, they aren't the ones primarily in charge of the Dream Realm. Largely because they prefer to spend their time out in the Greater Universe. So, instead, they appointed Doremy Sweet to that role.
(Really just an idea to explain how Doremy is still the ruler of Dreams, in Azure Inferno.)

Idea 4
Shenron, as well as the other Eternal Dragons, are connected to the Galactic Novas, in some way. Maybe Nova were created to replicate the Abilities of the Eternal Dragons without needing to summon it, by the Ancients? (Or whoever created it/them?)

Idea 5
Due to the sheer amount of Chaos Energy the species has been exposed to, "Ultimate" Mobians ALL have unparalleled Access to the Chaos Force. But, this applies to each in different ways. For example, an Ultimate Hedgehog would have powers akin to Fleetway Super Sonic, as well as a slight personality shift in that direction. An Echidna would be the same, but with Enerjak instead.
Thus, Ultimate Mobians would be somewhat more Volitile & Chaotic than their 'normal' Forms

Idea 6
Zero, a Horas-like Robot built by Dr Gero to study the Saiyan race in other Dimensions, which he had self-destruct after deeming Zero's efforts a failure, is found, repaired, and upgraded by Mari. Becoming sort of an advance scout for the Guardians, as well as one of the beings/members on the lookout for potential Candidates, either for the Group or as a potential Threat.

Eh, maybe I shouldn't be. Knowing me, I'll probably have another one sooner than I'd like to believe.
