Story time! :3
Ruby was walking around in a deep forest with her little spirits, Meiko and Kaito, as she heard the sobbing of a child. She walked closer to it and she soon saw a little girl crying, she sad on a stone and her left knee was bleeding. She also heard the girl crying for her mom but she was no where to be seen, so Ruby decided to get to her and help, much to Meiko's dismay but to Kaito's happiness. As the girl saw her she was afraid, a natural reaction Ruby get when she nears a human child who had never seen a lantern-dragon before. "Shh, you don't need to be scared little one, I only want to help you." Ruby lowered her head to look right at the girl. "Yo-you don't want to hurt me?" the little girl asked. Ruby shook her head and smiled "No, I want to help you. I heard you crying and went to see what happend. Where is your mommy actually?" "She was just with me *sob* but then she wasen't there anymore and I got lost here." *The girl returned to crying which made Ruby frown some. "Hey, hey, hey! Girl that's no reason to cry! This big old dragon will bring you back to your mommy." Sometimes Ruby could smash Kaito in the ground for his words. "Ahm! I'm not that old Kaito! But anyways I'm sure your mommy is worried sick for you. Let me bring you home little one." Ruby smiles at her kindly and the little girl also nodded with a smile, Ruby helped her to get on her back to lift the weight on her wounded leg some. With the directions of the little girl Ruby brought her back to her house. As she saw the house Ruby notice the parents of the girl, the mother was crying and the father was comforting her. "Mommy!!" As soon those words came from the girl the mother looked up and saw her daughter, also thanks to Ruby who had lowered her head some. The father looked more suprised at Ruby but the dragon focused more on the woman as she walked straight to them. As she stopped walking she laid down so the mother could get her daughter better of her, she hugged her close to her while the girl sobbed again, but this time it was a happily sob, and teh father hugged them both, Ruby smiled at that. Soon all three looked up at her, as she stood up once again, "Thank you so much for bringing her home mighty creature." *Ruby nodded with a smile and turned around to walk away. Since then the family always lit up a lantern in the evening, thanking the dragon of bringing their child back to them.
