I think it's about time for a reference sheet/redesign, like I did with Jet. I also drew her headshot in my traditional lining method, before I started doing it on paper.

And before you (and by YOU, I mean people who follow me) say this in the comments of how similar she looks to one of my more original characters, Ember: skycomicsstudios.deviantart.co… .

And now a little bit about the character, as I tend to do with these reference sheets. Now I haven't come up with much with her, due to me mainly focusing on Jet. But here's what I got so far. -clears throat-

She was raised by an old huntsman at young age, who taught her everything he knew about hunting, weather it being Grimm or regular animals, for food. She is very skilled with a bow, and has such good accuracy she could knock a mosquito out of the air from nearly a mile away. Assuming she can see it from that distance, of course. She has the ability to communicate with animals, as her semblance. She discovered this when she and her mentor was attacked by a mountain lion, earlier in her training. Her mentor was about to kill it, until she stopped him and told him that the lion was only protecting it's young, near by. She then told the lion they would leave if she just let by and won't harm the cubs. The lion then left, heading to her young up the hill above them. Amazed, the mentor followed the, then 10 year old, Amethyst down the pathway, as she promised. With this ability, she grew a respect for all forms of wildlife, and will only kill animals, if it's required. Her skills, of course, landed her a spot at Beacon academy, where she was placed in a team with Jet, my other RWBY OC: blueflame-fanart.deviantart.co… .
