My most current ref-sheet of Jisandra. I use it for her face dimensions, color palette, outfit reference, and now adapted it to be presentable for DA.

Jisandra Indarys' bio:

She has fiery temperament, never afraid to take risk. She always had problem staying in one place, and because of that she is constantly traveling, searching for a new adventure, owning only as much, as she can carry herself (judging by TES carry limit, it's quite much). From her earliest years her exceptional magical talent,  has made her feel better than others, so her ego is very bloated, but easily wounded. Death fascinated her since forever, and even if she has hard time admitting it, and considers it her dark part, she loves killing.

Jisandra Indarys is a bosmer with dunmer ancestry. Born in 403 year of the 3rd era, to a family of seclusive Azura worshippers, she had surprisingly peaceful childhood. Unfortunately Daedra cultists weren't really popular neither in Valenwood, nor in Cyrdill, on which border the Indarys family had been living. At the age of 10 she was accused of murdering local lord's son, and was sentenced to death. Before that could happen, she was snatched by slave traders, and shipped to Morrowind. Here she had a fortune to be bought by Telvanni Master Aryon. When he had discovered that Jisandra was quite talented in magic, he decided to take her as an apprentice. He desperately needed political allies, and he as well could have mold himself one. Jisandra didn't mind and both she and her master became steadfast friends.

As she had always resented her bosmer part, when Daedra Azura installed her as Nerevarine, Jisandra was delighted that she could be a hero for her favoured part of heritage. She was very young at the time, only 24, and it was a role she wasn't really ready for. She quickly became a puppet of both Morrowind and Oblivion rulers. Tired of this all, she fled to Imperial province, counting on possibility of being lost in the multicultural mingle. Then she happened to be mixed in the events which resulted in the Emperor's death and taken part in the Oblivion Crisis. As the Crisis ended, Blades discovered her identity and the fact she used to disrupt their operations in Morrowind. Fleeing once again, she became seclusive, tired of people nonsense. She aged and turned her attention to wisdom and knowledge instead of excitement and adventure. She discovered her cold and calculative side, as she often reflected on why she had failed as a hero. Her ambition couldn't let her not to succeed and when Alduin the World Eater had returned, 200 years of learning finally paid off.

Her height counts only 151cm, yet she doesn't have filigrane build, quite the contrary, she is very athletic. She keeps her dark, ash blond hair shoulder length, braided in elaborate hairstyle for practical reasons. Her favourite blend of colors is bright orange, blue and black, which she usually incorporates in her wardrobe.

Because her short posture, she is moderately capable warrior, and she mostly relies on her summonings and other magic in combat. Her favourite school of magic is conjuration, which she had already mastered early in her life. One of her biggest accomplishments as a conjurer was tricking a Dremora into a permanent servitude. After many adventures, Jisandra started to feel wrong about this whole thing and decided to set the daedra free. He accepted the proposition, yet he came to like that peculiar new lifestyle, so decided to tag along anyway. They became inseparable companions and eventually married.

It's a necessity, if I wanted her to fit role of a protagonist of all three games. I had to do some HARD headcanon for it to make any sense.

Following TES lore of race inheritance, she is bosmer, but in both her mother (about 63% bosmer and 37% dunmer) and father (half-dunmer bosmer) family trees there have some dark elf branches in them. Culturally speaking, she fully appropriated her dunmer ancestors way of life, and despite her being born in Valenwood, she officially is Morrowind citizen in Imperial census. She looks down at her bosmer heritage, especially their cannibalistic and Green-Pact related traditions.
