Crowley was a genius and our community owes him much but in the modern world what holds us back the most is the image of being either universally malevolent or silly and cartoonshly woo.
The k, in this case, stands to reinforce both IMO.
But hey, I'm just some guy that can draw pretty. Do what makes you happy.

The most beneficial aspect to magic is understanding how you tick and experiencing the fantastical on a regular basis.
You'll see the world as it truly is rather than through the lense of your programing and be able to reprogram yourself as you deem necessary. 
Yes, there are wizbang special effects but in the end it's goal is to master the mind in ways that will improve your life rather than escape it.

Yep, it absolutely works but how much so depends entirely on your own willpower. If you're mentally weak or lazy you won't get anywhere.
Most drop away before they even start because despite how easy meditation sounds it's an incredibly brutal regiment and without being able
to show your own mind who the boss is it will never sway to your whims.

I'll put out a new chapter every month or two, but I post temporary WIP pages up here for editing purposes as I complete them (I'm grammatically retarded and people here are very kind and helpful :3 ).

Well, now I've got something to look forward to every month! I'll just have to work on your guide as you release it! 

This is my inexperience talking, but I find your guide to be fantastically concise. My first introductions to anything magickal was the works of Abramelin the Mage, so to have a simple, easy to follow guide is excellent. Thank you for making this!

Thanks! I was trying to imitate those old Time Life Mysteries books. They were be these big black glossy things with a matte colored picture in the center and silver lettering for the title.

Congrats, that's awesome. You inspired me btw, I am not quite at bad at drawing as I thought once I just started letting loose and not caring if it's ever seen.

Yeah it's weird, there are so many artists that are into magic but none of them have made something like this. 
My assumption (and that's all it is) is that most join up with a group that's all "secret handshake" about their tech. Weak sauce, I say.

Yeah I wonder if they even have any good tech some of these groups. I see a lot of people talking but so few do things. I've watched streams of high priests whining about their dead wife and being unable to find love after many years. Fucking do it then! You have the power inside of you. 

Screw all this stuff anyway, I'm along with others who are the dangerous ones that want to see magical belief grow and grow. As it grows this stuff will get even more powerful. 'reality' will be even easier to play with when there's less disbelief in the air.

Edit: I know, how dare I mock people and their magics, but come on son, stop hiding that stuff behind all these walls, it's the 21st century hardly anyone will kill you for it anymore.
