Description
For CHoW #70: the assignment was little Red Riding Hood all grown up and she needed to be (1) modern and (2) sexy. The contrast on this might be completely messed up - apparently my monitor hates me. Also, I'm never drawing fur again

This is really different. You did fantastic on the fur, and the colors- and textures- are really great. Quite a different image of an older Red, as well.

i recently finished a poetic re working of red riding called howl grrl howl...this fits it perfectly....why wouldn't the wolf be reds true matriarchal teacher?

I dig this. It's not bloody, its not slutty, the wolves aren't monsters and Red isn't some psycho. Too many of the revisionist takes on this go to very dark and ugly extremes. This is just right.. no wait, that's from Goldilocks. . . oh well, you get my point. Great work, stockings look fantastic.

I think this is quite successful. Not only is she sexy (which maybe isn't that hard to convey), but she is subtly modern (a little more difficult, maybe) in unexpected ways: she's not a perky blonde; she has a tattoo; a baby tee... Lovely stuff!

There's some really nice stuff in this. I like the textures on the wolves (as do most people from the looks of things). You've chosen some nice colours too.

really well used texture (burned?) into the stockings. Perfect scale for her legs. And the tattoo is also burned or layered on? Also really seamlessly done. The fur looks so beautiful it must have bled your fingers to get that much out of it. So much lush detail! The one thing that strikes me about this piece (coming from a costume designer that is) is that her t-shirt is very masculine compared to the sumptuous look of the rest of the piece and especially her stockings. I might have chosen a more feminine design on the front of it, or something like that. Unless that was a purposeful choice.

i really like how you put holes in her stockings & the fur came out great =]
the only thing is that the t-shirt looks sort of out of place with all her other clothes which seem more luxurious or detailed
