Description
I really hate how the old one looks now, and thought I'd redraw it to fit my more current art style!
It's much more lively and I think it looks better. ^^

Also, I really want to try again with PP descriptions, but I shortened and changed a few things to make it
easier and more manageable for myself. Maybe a shorter description will work out better?

- General info:

Species name: Pelipper

Species #: 279

Gender ratio: 50% male / 50% female

Species type: Water Bird Pokemon

Status: Very Common

Appearance:

Pelipper are large, predominately white sea bird Pokemon with some of their feathers being a deep shade of sky blue
(Or lime green if shiny), blue legs and webbed feet, with a yellow-orange colored beak, in which males will have a black
mark on the tips of their beaks.

A staple part of their anatomy includes their large throat pouches.
The skin of the pouch is rubbery to the touch and very much just as flexible, allowing it to store several gallons of water in its mouth
and even up to a total of 25 pounds of small fish Pokemon at a time. The skin of these pouches stretches on to cover their undersides,
allowing them to float comfortably on the water's surface.

Biology:

Being easily one of Hoenn's most populous Pokemon, Pelipper are birds that honestly aren't very well-liked.
Mostly because of the species' seemingly crude behavior.

These birds are a bane to beachgoers, as they are known for swarming people (especially small children) and harassing them into
parting with their beach snacks in order for the Pelipper to steal them.

Their most common tactics of harassment being to use moves like Water Gun or Supersonic to blast away and separate the target from their food or even worse, to fly by, take aim and literally poop onto the target's food, causing sheer disgust from the beachgoers and making them drop their food altogether, giving the Pelipper the opportunity to swoop in and eat the discarded food for itself, poop and all.

Diet:

In the wild, their diet mostly consists of berries and small fish Pokemon such as Remoraid, Finneon, Barboach, Luvdisc,
individual Wishiwashi and Magikarp. They are also prone to feast on smaller Bug-Pokemon as well.

Though that's their usual diet, Pelipper aren't exactly picky eaters and will likely try to eat whatever they can fit into their
throat pouches.

Standard Pokemon food is acceptable for domestic Pelipper, and of course, they are definitely fond of beach foods such as
hot dogs, fries and ice cream.

Health:

Pelipper are normally pretty healthy bird Pokemon, capable of living up to 50 years in the right care.

Though, like many bird Pokemon, they are susceptible to skin diseases, wing and feather damage, and even swelling and inflammation of the crops within their bodies.

Temperament and Human Interaction:

Though they are often seen in a bad light due to how many of them seem to behave so crudely on crowded Hoenn beaches,
once caught and raised properly, Pelipper can actually be just as loving and loyal as literally any other Pokemon, despite not usually being the smartest.

They can be gentle around small children when properly trained, but it's still recommended that adult supervision is present,
as a toddler can easily fit into a Pelipper's throat pouch.
