Description
This week's feature is my DE from RE2. Manufacturer is Tokyo Marui and it's a GBB airsoft gun.The extras are S.T.A.R.S. and RPD pins and a dogtag. Better shot of just the extras has also been added.

What material are the grips made out of? Is that actual wood or just plastic?

I got my replacement of this gun now, good condition at last. Already packed it up to move house though, get pics once i've unpacked everything. Now need to get the other one sold somehow..

Yup, the dogtag came with the gun as an extra from the seller.. I found out it came with an original copy of RE2. It's awesome, but I'm more jealous of the RPD key you got! D:

Yeah i was lucky the same seller i got my Barry Edge off managed to get another DE for me. Should be able to sell the other one, just down to how much i'll get for it.. I dont want to lose too much money but at the same time cant expect someone to pay a fortune for a damaged gun so i dont know what to do yet. Was looking through the boxes when packing all the guns up and i came across an umbrella pin badge with my revolver i had no idea i had lol and also a few removal tools so i guess my revolver is complete, cant believe i missed those til now

I've been hunting that key down ever since I saw it in your gallery. Too bad I've only seen it once on someone's collection website. I refuse to give up, though. I'm a S.T.A.R.S. maniac. XD

If i had another i would gladly give it to you. I've never seen one before or since, wouldnt have even known they existed if he hadnt happened to have included it with my DE. If i ever come across another sometime i can let you know. As it came with my gun i'd have no idea what it would sell for by itself. Definately, S.T.A.R.S. FTW
Yep the revolvers are made by Tanaka Works. I have the 6" version yeah. Might try and get the 8" one day but its not a major one im looking for as i already have the 6". I pretty much have the ones i want now, just waiting to get my lugers. All thats really left are the specific Edge models for Jill and Chris and a few others like the chrome 10" DE but those ones arent of major importance for me getting

I just completed my official Samurai Edge collection this week, so I'm all happy about that. Haha I would LOVE to add a custom Wesker version... I see them for sale from time to time on yahoo auction Japan.

Yeah they are. The set must be incredibly rare, i've only ever seen it once and thats on a collectors website, never seen it for sale. Yeah i've had the lugers since last July, still waiting for my friend to paint them for me so i can get them (thanks to stupid UK airsoft laws i have to get them painted if im not a 'skirmisher') My other guns i've got around that as they could be separated into 2 parts by just removing the slide and sending it separately to me but the lugers i cant do that so they have to be painted. MY lugers also come with the relief so should look good on the wall if i ever get them

THE RELIEF!! I'M SO JEALOUS!!!! *_* I badly want it!! Can't wait to see pictures when you get them back all pretty-looking. And I heard about that stupid law in the UK... How ridiculous. Especially for the lugers which are just little plastic toys. Bah.
I'm kind of paranoid about shipping these back to America when I move.. I don't want to lose anything in my collection. I shouldn't, but you never know with these people in customs. I'm going to take all precautions I possibly can, even going so far to print out the message from their website stating airsoft guns are acceptable and put it in every box. >_>

Yeah i was lucky the set came up for sale from Japan. Seller didnt seem to be able to speak or understand English very well so couldnt paint them for me, had to have them sent to a friend in the US instead so i could get them that way. Taken way longer than expected and still dont have them but might eventually one day. This new law is moronic, how can it stop any crime? Its not hard to buy a bright red gun and spray it black is it? So it deters no crimes, anyone who wanted to use a fake gun to commit a crime can easily still get around the law. Gold is apparently a 'realistic' colour so i even have to have the lugers painted or Customs will impound them on arrival. I've been lucky with all the guns i have, only my standard model Edge i actually got from this country
I dont blame you, i dont trust Customs with anything which might be considered a 'weapon'. Airsoft laws dont seem too bad with the US compared to here, as far as i know the only law the US has on them is the barrel has to be orange to distinguish it from a real gun. Why ours have to be bright red or whatever to make that distinction i dont know. Hasnt really been any problems with the RE guns which are just orange capped rather than permanently painted orange. My lugers werent even capped and my friend got them fine. Should be ok to get them through but im always wary of customs. If customs themselves state that airsoft guns are ok for importing then you should be fine, but i agree in taking every precaution that you can

That is truly stupid and you're right. It doesn't stop anyone from doing anything. As usual, innocent people pay an unnecessary price for no reason. Morons in charge. Always the case. It's a pity. In any case, I'm glad you haven't had any trouble getting your guns in. It gives me hope that I won't lose any of my treasures. >_> I'm so paranoid about it still. Ugh. Most of my guns have the removable red caps but I'm also going to paint the tips orange with nail polish just in case. I'm also worrying about trademarks... I heard that's also grounds for confiscation. Stupid.

Because we only can buy Airsofts, that have a special Marking made by our Government or got an Energy lower than 0,5 Joules. Everything else is an illegal weapon
