I'd recommend rather than 'Why do such a face.'
And instead have; "Why wear such a face?"
You need the question mark as it's a question, Thor's asking himself. And 'wear' is more clear than 'do' and 'make such a face' sounds a bit more immature, like a child making faces. 'Wear' is more mature and placid in nature, perhaps even a tad sorrowful in how it sounds
