I was actually going to go a different way with this page, but it went too much into territory that I felt would be better covered later on. Especially through Masaru, Touma and Yoshino's thoughts and feelings and not Dan who was originally regurgitating what they would say. :/Related content

Thought the Jedi thing was more Gennai's...Obi Wan Kenobi in the official Manga Adaption of Episode 1 totally looks like him.

I recall some fans claiming there's some relation between (Young) Gennai and Ryou given that they do look alike.

In Zone canon, they very well could be Alternates. But yeah probably the same fans.
I know Yamaki looks like Takeru, but it seems like the Miss Asagi thing blossemed more out of Lara Jill Miller performing the role in the dub. I think it was even admitted this was done on purpose by the dubbers as a reference to Kari wanting to be a teacher. Though I don't think Asagi looks like Kari personally. I'll admit there's a vague resemblance though.

Chances are also that the Miki ( classmate of Takato ) and Megumi from Tamers are alternates to the ones from Savers as they have the same names and also some similarities in looks. They have some similarities. But it is probably just a reference to them, with Miki also referencing Reika ( inclding having the same Seiyuu ) in real world explanation. DATS does have some Hypnos References afterall.
Basing it on the Voice alone is pretty dumb, if you ask me.

Well be that as it may, there does appear to be a vague resemblance between her and Kari but I digress. Though I do love personality they gave Asagi in the dub and I loved Miller's delievery.

When it comes to Tamers, I've really only seen the Dub all the way through. I have been unable to find subs to watch Tamers and make comparisons like I have with Savers, Adventure, 02 and Frontier. I just remember Miss Asagi being more sarcastic, more emphasis that she doesn't like her job (at least that's the vibe I got), and an instance where her concern for the kids going to the Digital World being more that she actually is concerned rather than it being 'false concern' and more concerned what it would do to her. The later part I mentioned comes from something I read on the Digimon Encyclopedia once.

Guess Miss Asagi is atleast in one aspect a better person than Miss Asanuma. But then again, Miss Asanuma might be more realistic.
