For a while now I've considered giving the Savers Zone arch an overhaul to clean up some problems I have with it, though staples such as the problem of the Zone Hole, Nimoy's Theory/Izzy's Simulation and Ragnarok+Yggdrasil as the final boss would remain.

Chiefly one thing that I would like to fix is some character dumps namely Kristi, who at the time I just kinda plopped in there.

For some reason I found the idea of her being a Bio-Hybrid appealing, and decided to have her become "BioCrusadermon" instead. Though would would make a good base stage? I settled on "BioKabukimon" because of the flower theme.

I had considered that Kristi's Bio-Hybrid nature was a by-product of Dr. Solomen's (later Serpentmon) Digivolution experiments in his own quest to obtain Digimon-like power. Dr. Solomen later collaborated with Kurata and Poindexter to refine the Bio-Hybrid process. (Poindexter was unaware of Kristi being a subject, and generally pushed using ne'er-do-wells like Kouki or Riesa, seeing creeps like them as expendable fodder.) Kristi was the first partially successful Bio-Hybrid prototype, followed by Riesa. Kouki's team are the perfected results.

Dan upon learning of this becomes furious, using a little girl as a petri dish, let alone someone of his own flesh and blood. It was not a good day to be a gene-splicing villain, to say the least.

A story idea would be Dan trying to take Kristi back to the Damons to catch up and take care of her, but this becomes problematic because of her erratic transformations. At one point Dan does the unthinkable and dons on a DATS uniform to force a system crash on BioKabukimon's programming. (Kristi was wired to attack DATS, but would refuse to harm her brother. A system error occurred upon seeing him in a DATS uniform.) A tearful goodbye happens, where she departs after protecting the crew in a battle with BioHarpymon, not wanting to hurt her long lost brother (and likewise Dan not wanting to hurt her). Much later after talking Poindexter into it, Kristi attempts an infusion of stronger data to stabilize her body. Poindexter couldn't reverse Solomen's procedure, and was unable to consult him as Solomen had long since disappeared. The result of this was the elegant BioCrusadermon, but the process still went awry. Kristi was still consumed by her own fear and despair and this had a severe adverse reaction to the data, causing BioCrusadermon to become corrupted by her own innate human emotion. Thus she began to rampage, lashing out at anything in anger and fear. This would lead into the fight with Crusadermon seen in the original anime. Saku would help with this fight, as I saw her as being a big sister type for Kristi.
