Both Appmon are inspired by an obscure anime called Brave Beats, where kids team up with Pluster World like creatures based on different dance routines and moves.

Ravemon (Breakmon + Roamon) is the Ultimate Rave Party Appmon, and like Geniemon, is a variant of Entamon. It's not a party without this fun loving Appmon, and once he appears, he'll crank up whatever event he's at up to eleven. Ravemon is all about flash and pizzazz, captivating its audience with epic dance dimensions via its Raveolution attack. Within these pocket spaces, its opponents dance all night long and beyond... Using its Razor Light attack, Ravemon dazzles its opponent with a spectacular laser light show via the glow sticks on its body, before tearing them to shreds with a flashy dance move.

Breakmon (Dancemon + Beatmon) is the Super Break Dance App. This groovin' and jivin' dragon like Appmon cannot stand still, and is always dancing to whatever beat it hears, even if it has to hum something when nothing's playing. It has hyper evolved muscles that allow it to dance for hours on end without fatigue, making it a robust fighter. Its finisher Flash Beat attack incorporates flashy dance moves into its fighting style, working up an intense amount of energy that it unleashes on the dance floor. Its special move, Break Buster, unleashes a flurry of break dancing moves.
