A new subline of Transformers was announced called Botbots, which feature everyday objects being brought to life as tiny, mischievous Transformers via an Energon mist. Several of them are based on plants funny enough, which means Botanica now has some new friends!Related content

Fortunately I seem to have missed all toxicity around these little cuties but I am proud to see the concept of Plant type transformers being humoured after so very long. Hopefully this is an omen of bigger things to come but if not there still adorable.

Plantformers also appeared in the IDW Comics as part of an experiment in propelling Transformer evolution, albeit for Decepticon purposes. These βTreeconsβ appeared to ambush some characters, but Grimlock felled them.Β
Prolly a safe bet Plantformers are limited to Botbots, unless we see a Treecon in the new IDW ongoing.Β

But having them just do cameo seems like a waist.
Imagin how much income they could rake in with a new type of transformer.
Also I just remembered the Quintezons and how only have one toy to there name, two if you count the Sharktacons. And see that they know how make multi-faced transformers thanks to Generations Blitzwing, PotP Punch & Counter Punch and the non transforming Alpha-Q toy.
